Agartala, October 9: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Friday laid the foundation stone for a new office building in Ward 29.
The ceremony was attended by East Zonal Chairman Sukhmay Saha, Ward 29 corporator Ruma Das and other dignitaries.
The new building is expected to improve access to civic services and provide a dedicated space for ward-level administrative work. Residents will also find it easier to approach the ward office to raise local issues and seek assistance with municipal services.
The project has been taken up to meet the long-term needs of residents in the area. Once operational, the office is expected to strengthen coordination between the civic body and local residents.
