Agartala, 23 September : The BJP has made changes to its organisational structure, appointing new in-charges and co-in-charges for several States.
Mriganka Debbarma has been appointed the party’s Tripura in-charge, while former Tripura Chief Minister and incumbent Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb has been assigned responsibility for Madhya Pradesh.
The appointments were announced by BJP national president Nitin Nabin as part of the organisational reshuffle.
In Madhya Pradesh, Mr Deb will be assisted by Rekha Verma, who has been appointed co-in-charge. In Tripura, Mr Debbarma will be responsible for overseeing the party’s organisational affairs.
The latest appointments form part of a wider restructuring of the BJP’s State-level organisation.
