Agartala, September 15 : Tripura BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb has launched an initiative to visit at least five households every day as part of an effort to strengthen his direct connect with the people.
As part of the programme, Deb on Tuesday visited 10 households in the East Gakulnagar Gram Panchayat area under the Kamalasagar Assembly constituency.
During the visits, the MP interacted with residents to understand their daily lives, problems and immediate needs. He also sought their views and listened to their grievances.
The initiative is aimed at taking public outreach beyond political engagement and building closer ties with people, particularly those at the grassroots level, according to party sources.
The programme is also intended to encourage BJP office-bearers and workers to maintain regular contact with people, understand their concerns and extend support wherever possible.
Through the initiative, party workers have been urged to remain connected with the public and ensure that local issues and grievances are brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities.
