Agartala, September 15 : The Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) has sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 50,000 for the advanced medical treatment of Soham Pal, a resident of Ramnagar.
Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb said the assistance was approved after an application seeking support for Pal’s treatment was forwarded to the PMNRF. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the aid.
In a social media post, Deb said the application was processed and approved within a short period. He also said similar requests for financial assistance for advanced treatment had been forwarded to the PMNRF in the past and received support.
Deb expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for the assistance sanctioned for Pal’s treatment.
