Hyderabad, Sep 10 (IANS): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday congratulated Madhu Goud Yaskhi on being appointed as Chairperson of the All India Professionals’ Congress.
The Chief Minister took to ‘X’ to convey his hearty congratulations and best wishes to Goud.
“A well-deserved recognition of his long years of service and his ability to connect with people across walks of life. His experience will help the party deepen its engagement with India’s professional community and bring their expertise into nation-building. Wishing him every success,” posted the Chief Minister.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud also congratulated Madhu Goud Yaskhi.
“Congratulations Madhu Yaskhi Goud Garu! Wishing you continued success and greater responsibilities ahead,” posted the State Congress chief.

Minister for Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar also conveyed warm congratulations to Madhu Goud Yaskhi on being appointed as the Chairperson of the All India Professionals’ Congress. “I am confident that under your leadership, the organisation will further strengthen its connect with professionals and bring their ideas, aspirations and expertise to the forefront. Wishing you every success in this important responsibility,” he said.
All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday appointed Madhu Goud Yaskhi as the chairperson of the All India Professionals’ Congress.
AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal announced this through a press release on Wednesday night.
The party appreciates the contributions of outgoing chairperson Praveen Chakravarty, the release said.
A prominent leader of the Congress party in Telangana, Madhu Goud Yaskhi has decades of experience and is known for close rapport with the party’s high command.
Highly educated, Madhu Goud Yaskhi is one of the key leaders from Backward Castes and is also known for his civil and soft demeanour.
A strong supporter of separate Telangana State, he was elected twice to the Lok Sabha from Nizamabad.
In 2023, Goud was appointed the chairman of the Campaign Committee of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). He unsuccessfully contested the Assembly polls in 2023.
He was one of the frontrunners for the post of State Congress chief in 2024 after then TPCC president Revanth Reddy became Chief Minister. However, the party appointed Mahesh Kumar Goud as the TPCC chief.
